From Corralejo you drive along the coast, through the dunes, to Puerto del Rosario. From there drive on through Antigua, the oldest town on the island, to Betancuria, the former capital - a smaller place but absolutely worth visiting with a beautiful church and an interesting museum. Back to the junction, turn left to Valle de Santa Ines. In the direction of Tefia you will find a church towards the mountains very worth seeing. At the town entrance you turn left in the direction of Los Molinos, passing a beautiful mill up to the pictorial bay. At Las Parcellas you will see one of the few dam lakes. Drive back to Tefia and on via La Oliva and Lajares to El Cotillo. In this fishing port you will find many good fish restaurants (a speciality, but not every ones taste: lapas with mojo: baked sea-snails in garlic sauce). You can sit beautifully direct at the port. From there you drive back to Corralejo.
